First off don't gross out because this is a slice of Heaven. When I first heard about it I wanted to gag. Pretzels with Jell-o??? Well, don't underestimate the power of the pretzel!!!! And don't dis it until you try it. This not not a salad as much as it is a bar. I guess a more appropriate name for this would be the Pretzel Jell- Bar, but it is what it is...
Crust The Rest
1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels 1 cup sugar
4 1/2 tbs white sugar 8 oz thawed whipped topping
3/4 c melted sugar 6 oz strawberry jell-o
2 cups boiling water
16 oz frozen raspberries
2 pkg. (8oz each) cream cheese
Pre-heat oven to 350.
Mix crust ingredients together. Press into 9x13 pan
bake 10 min. Then cool completely.
Beat sugar & cream cheese smooth, fold in the whipped topping. Spread over the cooled crust.
Refrigerate 30 minutes.
Mix together jell-o. Refrigerate at least one hour.
Once again don't diss it until you try it. It will be a sweet side dish...almost a dessert.
