My made up Chicken cabbage soup

Sometimes we like to experiment with our food.  And many times I am looking for a cheap dish...when you have to  feed 8 people fillet minion is not always...or ever a choice.  I do a lot in the crock-pot, such as this recipe...but not all countries have those.  So it says to simmer for 1-2 hours, but if you crock-pot it then you can just throw everything in (but cabbage and bell pepper)  in the morning.  The chicken can even be frozen.  Then the same 30 min rule applies for the rest.

1-2 chicken breasts
6 cups water/stock
1 can black beans
1/2 head cabbage
bell pepper- cut-up
cumin (for taste)
crushed red pepper (for taste)

Add all ingredients (except for cabbage and bell pepper), simmer for an hour or two.  about 1/2 hour before being done add cabbage and bell peppers.  You can add more veggies like carrots and green beans if you would like.

Good for those "soup days"!
